KOJI — MIX GAME SPECIALIST
Profile / Results / Book (English)
Japanese mixed-game specialist on a mission to bring Japanese mixed games to the world. Winner of the 2026 WSOP $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball Championship — becoming only the ninth Japanese player ever to win a WSOP bracelet.
With over 17 years of experience in Las Vegas high-stakes mixed games, he focuses on non-hold'em disciplines — 2-7 Triple Draw, T.O.R.S.E., and Dealer's Choice — with three JOPT titles in 2025 (PLO Championship, Fixed Limit 2-7 Triple Draw & Badugi, and 10 Game MIX). Runs "Koji MIX Dojo," an in-person mixed-game school in Tokyo, and a mentorship program that began as free coaching for six hand-picked students and has grown into a paid program of around 100 members — at the 2026 WSOP he staked six of them for a combined $100K+ to compete together in Las Vegas. Author of Koji's MIX GAME.
Drawing on his own experience with stuttering, he also founded the Japan Stuttering Association, a non-profit supporting others who face the same challenge.
